Aroma of the Andes
The Brown family’s journey began in 2012 with Finca La Despensa, their coffee farm near Supatá in Cundinamarca, Colombia. At approximately 5,500 feet above sea level, the farm grows shade-grown Arabica coffee, primarily Colombia and Castillo varieties. Coffee cherries are carefully handpicked, wet processed, and sun dried at origin before traveling to Linn, West Virginia, where Aroma of the Andes roasts each order. Its collection includes light, medium, dark, espresso, and signature roasts, along with distinctive maple-infused and bourbon barrel-aged coffees. Aroma of the Andes delivers exceptional Colombian specialty coffee with a story rooted in family, craftsmanship, and respect for the land. Purchases also help support clean drinking-water projects in South America, extending the company’s impact beyond the coffee cup.

Founded by Mark Crooks, Melodic Café was built to provide high-quality coffee from around the world. The marketplace brings independent roasters and producers together in one curated destination, giving customers an easier way to discover exceptional coffee and learn about the people behind the craft. Melodic Café also serves as the official sponsor of CoffeeTime Studio. Together, the two brands use music, media, and original content to introduce customers to independent roasters, specialty coffee, and great music. Our mission is to make exceptional coffee more affordable and accessible while building a community that celebrates independent roasters, creative culture, and coffee with a melody.
